Submit Your Artwork for Consideration
Submitted illustrations undergo a juried selection process, conducted by a committee that has previously included gallery owners, publishing professionals, and museum administrators.
Submission Guidelines
- We require illustrators to submit digital scans of five unique art pieces. These pieces do not have to be previously published in book format, but must be suitable for a children’s book.
- The original artwork can be physical or digital, so long as prints can be made available for sale.
- Digital scans must be in JPEG format, approximately 1000-1200 pixels wide. You may insert a copyright symbol at the bottom right-hand corner of each image if you wish.
- Illustrations must be complete and ready for sale, without any white space or text gaps.
- Each image must be labeled with an appropriate title. This title can be specific to the piece, or can come from the book it originates from.
- If applicable, we ask illustrators to write a few sentences about the original book. This is an opportunity to include any awards the book has received, or describe the story behind the art.

In your submission, please indicate:
- •
the size of the piece in centimetres
- •
its approximate weight
- •
whether it’s a physical illustration or a digital print
- •
whether it’s signed or unsigned
- •
whether it’s framed or unframed
- •
the proposed price of the piece
